Wedding Packages: How to Look Your Best on Your Big Day
Your wedding day is one of the most magical – and momentous – times of your life, and the pictures you get of that day will form some of your most treasured memories. You take considerable time and care over choosing the right outfits, hair style, makeup and photographer to create the most perfect pictures possible – but do you give your body the same attention to detail?

The desire to look your absolute best is entirely understandable, but so many people overlook the opportunities to improve your natural beauty in advance of the big day. Through appropriate exercise and diet, you can see noticeable results not only in your figure but also your skin, hair, nails and eyes – all of which reduces the need (though perhaps not the desire!) for additional intervention on the day itself.
If you’ve set your sights on some weight loss, toning or fitness goals in the lead-up to the big day, then it’s worth considering the impact – both physical and mental – that a dedicated personal trainer can have, to boost your motivation and your results. In just a few short weeks, with at least 2 training sessions per week, you’ll be amazed at the difference you can achieve. Not only can personal trainers tell you exactly what exercises will benefit you most, they’ll also be able to offer moral support and give you crucial feel-good pep talks to keep you on track and focused on success.
Set Your Goals
What is it that you want to achieve for your wedding? Are you looking to slim down or tone up? Do you have a particular dress or suit size you want to fit into, or are you wanting to simply create a sleeker silhouette?
Whatever your dreams for the day, we can help you achieve them. For those seeking a more dramatic change in their body shape, cardio activities are great to get your heart pumping and your muscles working, encouraging your body to burn more carbohydrates and unwanted fats. Weights and resistance training help you tone up, improve definition and build core strength, which also boosts your overall fitness level.

Watch the Clock
You have to be realistic about your time scale and your expectations. If your wedding is a matter of weeks away, a big transformation is possible but will take a lot of dedication and hard work, especially in terms of toning up loose skin – always a challenge for those seeking short-term weight loss. In such circumstances, it might be best to concentrate on toning, so that your body can develop a more defined shape. However, if it’s a question of fitting into your dream dress, don’t discount the power of exercise for weight loss in just a few short sessions.
If you have a little longer to devote to achieving your wedding physique, you’re much more likely to see the effects continued long-term. Weight loss and toning that is done gradually over a number of months tends to be slower to reverse, and if you keep up with your training and diet plans then there’s no reason for your shape to revert at all.
Of course, our aim is to work with you no matter what your schedule and whatever your aspirations, to give you the best possible results in the time remaining. If you’re not sure what’s achievable, get in touch with us to discuss your needs and we’ll do everything we can to make your dreams a reality.
What’s involved?
When you sign up with us, you’ll be assigned a dedicated personal trainer who will work with you on a 1:1 basis to design a workout routine to suit both your goals and your abilities. This could centre around cardio activities such as running, cycling or rowing, or resistance training using presses and weights. You can also opt to have training sessions in whatever location suits you best, be that the local park or even at your home.
You’ll continue to have regular 1:1 training sessions – usually 2 to 3 per week, depending on your needs – to keep you on track, and to introduce different exercises to vary the routine and continue to challenge your body. Each session will include a warm up and cool down as standard to ensure you don’t sustain an injury, along with a full workout.
However, the intervening days are just as valuable, so part of the service is a personalised training plan that you can follow in your own time, either gym- or home-based to suit, which will continue to extend your success.
As a complement to your physical work, your personal trainer can also offer advice and tips on healthy food choices, giving you ideas for ingredients to include and recipes to follow to boost your fitness. Your choice of foods, especially with an emphasis on vitamin and mineral intake, is also what can have a dramatic impact on your hair, skin and nails; little changes can make a massive difference, so it’s always worth taking a little time to consider your diet in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding.
